Autism torture case: Four years on – why has nothing been done?

What happened to the case in 2010 against Jack Bolton, Andrew Griffin, Nathan Marshall?

They were three guys who tortured a 17 year-old autistic teen.

There was massive outrage at the community order sentences.

A petition was begun in protest at the extremely light sentencing – but only 53 signed.

MP Hazel Blears wrote to then Justice Secretary Kenneth Clarke with major concerns.

Justice officials promised to look into lenient sentencing. Nothing else heard in four years.

Not a peep from the CPS or the AGO. Not even a mention from our Disability Hate Crime experts.

Clearly this is a hate crime that *never existed.*  A disability hate crime *wiped off the statue books.*
